Mary Jane's Art Background

Mary Jane has always been thrilled to work with colors. As a child, she was always excited to be presented with a new box of crayons. In college, she took several art education classes while majoring in elementary education. Later, she enrolled in numerous art studio classes at the graduate level. Her interest in watercolor painting intensified while taking a class taught by David R. Daniels at the Northern Virginia Community College. She enjoys creating florals, landscapes, and seascapes.

Mary Jane is a member of the National Watercolor Society and Great Falls Studios.

Being fascinated with all types of design, she also created quilting designs which were selected for publication by the Rodale Press.
